Knight is a 3rd generation racer, following in the footsteps of his granddad, Jimmy Deason, his dad, Ken Knight and his mom, Deanne Knight.
Knight's racing career began at the age of 12 racing go-karts locally. His career progressed from local, regional and national kart racing, to local, regional and national Crate Late Model Dirt racing to now local, regional and national Super Late Model Dirt racing. Knight has competed in excess of 500 local, regional and national races amongst all three segments of racing. Knight has a career record of 92 wins, 220 top 5 finishes, 331 top 10 finishes and 60+ pole positions.
