(Eastaboga, AL - October 8, 2025) – America’s Leader in Racing makes its lone trip to the Magnolia State this weekend, October 10-11, as the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series rolls into Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the 21st Annual Governor’s Cup, paying $10,000-to-win. The two-day event marks the twelfth stop on the 2025 national tour and begins the final push toward the season championship with just three full-points races remaining.
With time running out in the 2025 season, every lap matters. Joseph Brown enters the weekend as the hottest driver on tour, fresh off his fourth win of the year at the Ice Bowl Qualifier at Talladega Short Track. However, Jeremy Steele of York, South Carolina continues to set the pace atop both the National Championship and the Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year standings.
Behind Steele, Bubba Roling (-40), Matt Henderson (-42), and Brown (-44) are locked in a fierce three-way battle for second – each within striking distance as the tour heads to Columbus. With a bonus race at Charlotte and two major $10,000-to-win events remaining at Needmore and Swainsboro, the championship picture is far from settled.
This year marks the 26th all-time Crate Racin’ USA appearance at Johnny Stokes’ premier facility, affectionately known as “The Mag.” The series will headline the Governor’s Cup for just the second time, after Ricky Weiss claimed victory in 2024.
