Steele Scores Second Series Win of 2025 at Senoia

Steele Scores Second Series Win of 2025 at Senoia

(Senoia, GA – August 16, 2025) – York, South Carolina’s Jeremy Steele continued to prove himself as a championship contender in the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series, picking up his second career series victory on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway. Steele dominated the 40-lap main event, leading flag-to-flag while fending off strong challenges from both Koulten Herbert and Bubba Roling.

After starting on the outside of the front row, Steele quickly jumped to the lead and never looked back. Herbert applied pressure in the opening stages, staying within striking distance for the first 21 laps before settling into third. A late-race restart set up the final showdown, with Roling closing in and racing door-to-door with Steele in the closing circuits. Despite the challenge, Steele’s steady pace and composure carried him to the checkered flag.

Following the win, Steele praised the racetrack and its conditions. “The track was really good tonight – you could race top or bottom,” Steele said. “These are the kinds of slick surfaces I like. They fit my driving style and make for really good racing.”

Roling, who also finished runner-up at Xtreme Speedway on July 5th, settled for his second podium of the season, showing that consistency is building for the Woodstock, Georgia driver. Herbert rounded out the podium with a strong third-place effort, marking his second top-three of the year and giving him valuable points as the season tightens down the stretch.

The Senoia feature had major implications in the CRUSA championship chase. Steele entered the weekend with his lead reduced to just 12 points after an eighth-place finish at Penton on Friday. But when title contender Matt Henderson was caught in a lap-one wreck and failed to finish, Steele’s advantage ballooned back to a 50-point margin.

Behind Steele, the battle for second has tightened dramatically with Jimmy Thomas, Bubba Roling, and Austin Yarbrough now tied at 670 points, just 50 back. Henderson slipped to fifth in the standings but remains within striking distance as the series heads toward its biggest stretch of the season.
